They met at Dairy Queen. That’s where all good things happen! Valerie trained Drew on how to make a properly layered ice cream cone, and something sparked between them. Due to his naturally shy demeanor, it took Drew several years to ask her out. But during that pre-dating time period, they built a strong foundation of friendship with many stories, laughs, and happy memories. At long last, Drew asked her out on a date! They went to Popham Beach in the fall and after a day of sipping hot chocolate and singing along to songs on the radio, Valerie realized she was in love with this man <3
