I am SO EXCITED to share this beautiful wedding with you!! Alexis spent her summers growing up on the beach in Maine, and Erik hails from Tennessee. As a tribute to the bride’s coastal roots, the couple chose to celebrate with their family and friends in Kennebunkport, Maine. Alexis and her bridesmaids spent the morning getting ready at her childhood home. She wore her mother’s veil and Kate Spade shoes. Because the beach had so much sentimental value, it provided a perfect location for Alexis and Erik to share a first look. It was a beautiful moment with more than a few tears! An antique Bentley arrived to transport the bride and her father to St. Joseph’s Church for a traditional Catholic ceremony. As soon as they were pronounced husband and wife, Erik and Alexis took a private ride together to the Colony Hotel in Kennebunkport for a lively celebration. Special details included made-in-Maine blueberry jam favors, reclaimed lobster buoy table numbers, a live music (by Wavelength Band), two signature drinks, blueberry pie, late-night lobster rolls, a sparkler exit, and a trolly to transport guests to the “after party”!
