After spending 9 years together, Steve proposed to Eva one quiet night after work… surrounded by their three cats :) That story made me laugh because I, too, am a crazy cat lady! Not many couplesĀ are brave enough to host a Maine winter wedding, so I was overjoyed when Eva messaged me (especially after I heard that her colors would be gold and mint green!).Ā And while I loved all the fun bits they incorporated into their wedding day, my favorite part was the love & joy both families have for these two (also, the dance moves weren’t half bad) <3 <3 <3
^ Candy bar! And green everything!
^ I definitely sampled a few. It was all so pretty!
^ I loved their decorations!
^ Favors from Fiore Olive Oil were highly appropriate; Eva use to work for them!
^ Let’s chat about this cake for a sec. Oh, this cake! Made by ConfectionArt, this cake was truly a masterpiece! I can’t even comprehend how much time it must have taken to create it. Gold, ombre, sugar flowers. When Eva and Steve went to sample the flavors, they couldn’t pick. So, each layer was a different flavor. I thinkĀ everyone start doing that ;)
^ Allll the pretty things
^ Ahh! Jenga tiles for a non-traditional guest book.
^ Putting on a dress is a lot of work.
^ Even her shoes matched!
^ Eva’s mom + almost mother-in-lawĀ :)
^ First look!
^ <3 <3 <3 I think he likes her
^ Happy dad
^ And sweet flower girl!
^ The mothers had a Pinterest favorite we had to recreate :)
^ Dancing shoes
^ He’s got the moves
The end
